Islamabad: The sword of elimination from the election process is hanging on the heads of Pakistan Muslim League-Quaid leadership as they were caught on camera watching a vulgar dance of an actress in Islamabad.
According to sources, the dance party was arranged by the culture wing’s head of PML-Q, Sultana Gul. The Q-league President, Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain, General Secretary Mushahid Hussain Syed and other core leadership attended the party.
A large number of women and children also participated in the programme.
Although some sober dances were also presented in the party but a dance from a special actress, who came from Lahore, was of key interest for the participants. The leadership present at the occasion took keen interest in the ‘Mujra’.
Talking to media over the issue, former Secretary Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), Kunwar Dilshad Ahmed said that the matter was serious and if the ECP used its power under article 62 and 63, which states the qualities of the nominee for the election, the PML-Q leadership could be barred from participating in the upcoming elections.
Meanwhile, after the launching of the video on social media, the Election Commission of Pakistan has also directed Q-league to submit the video of that program, especially the performance of the actress, who came from Lahore to Islamabad for the special performance.
