A nationally representative sample of men and women from across the four provinces was asked Imagine that the standard and expenses are the same for both, then would you prefer to send your daughter to a coeducation or all-girls school? Responding to this, 76 percent said all-girls school and 21 percent said co-education school. However, 3 percent did not give a response.
The study was released by Gilani foundation and carried out by Gallup Pakistan, the Pakistani affiliate of Gallup International.
The recent survey was carried out among a sample of 2732 men and women in rural and urban areas of all four provinces of the country, during January 27, 2013 February 03, 2013. Error margin is estimated to be approximately 2-3 per cent at 95 percent confidence level.
