Islamabad: A meeting chaired by Adviser to Prime Minister on Interior Minister Rehman has decided to announce 5000 vacancies for the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA), said a statement issued here on Friday
The statement noted that the meeting also decided to functionalize the FIA offices situated in outside the country.
Rehman Malik was also briefed about recent passport scandal by the members of the team probing the case.
The meeting decided that 150 vehicles would be handed over to the FIA that would be used during the process of investigation and prosecution.
It is to mention here that announcements of FIA jobs through fake mobile messages and fake website were being made in the country for the last few months. However,As per Director (Admin) FIA there were so many calls received regarding “Jobs in FIA” at FIA HQs and Zonal offices.
The Director had categorically mentioned that there was no job in FIA currently and no vacancies had been announced so far. He had further stated that messages circulated through mobile phones or fake website regarding vacancies in FIA was totally wrong.
