Mardan: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has announced that the government will pay Rs1500 monthly to those parents who will send their daughters to school in Torghar and Kohistan districts of the province.
Addressing laptop distribution ceremony in Khan Abdul Wali Khan University in Mardan on Sunday, the chief minister said that the provincial government was committed and using all the possible resources in education sector.
He said that laptops were being distributed transparently among intelligent students, adding that no political pressure would be accepted in the scheme.
Hoti said that he had established 74 new colleges in his era, adding that they were establishing private schools in the remote areas having no government school. “Government will pay the fee of the students in these private schools.
