PTI and Imran Khan to win Election 2013, at least social media users think so

Pakistan election 2013As Election campaigns ends in Pakistan last night, trend has shown that Pakistanis, at least on social media, are inclined towards Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf, the party of injured Imran Khan.

Though variable factors make impact on online polls, but they at least show trends on social media, which usually reflects in the real life.

Political parties had run electrifying campaigns across the country with PTI, Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMLN), Jamaat e Islami (JI) Pakistan, Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) and others held the most number of processions and rallies.

Now after the end of campaign, everyone is eyeing on polling day and subsequent results.

The News Tribe has asked its readers about who is going with Pakistan Election 2013 and majority of the audience, both inside and outside the country, says that PTI will win the elections. As many as 4,397 people voted in the poll in total.

1. PTI tops

As many as 2,340 people voted in favour of Khan’s party, which contributes 53 percent of the total number of votes.

2. PMLN gets second position

The second largest party in the polls is Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz. It gets 619 votes.

3. MQM on third position

Having strong base in Karachi, MQM ranked on third position by voters. About 13 percent people think MQM could win elections.

4. JI’s fourth position

As many as 304 voters, or 7 percent of people, think that JI could win the next elections.

5. Pakistan Peoples Party gets fifth place

With 6 percent people think PPP could be victorious again, 255 votes were caste in favour of the party.

6. Coalition Government is expected

About 4 percent people think that no single party is going to get the majority, so a coalition government is expected in the country.

Social Media outcry! Veena removed from Hero TV’s Astaghfar show

Karachi: Apparently succumbing to public uproar and online petition in Social Media, Veen Malik, a controversial Pakistan-based Indian actress, has been removed from Astaghfar Show, a Ramadan-based program at newly launched Hero TV. Veena  Malik Ramadan Astaghfar
A highly placed source in Express Media Group, which launched Hero TV, told The News Tribe that it was confirmed that the bold actress had been removed from the program.

Earlier trailers and news that Veena Malik, will do Astaghfaar show on Hero TV channel sparked an outcry across the country.

“Veena not in reality but in performance will repent from her sin whatever and wherever she committed in her life. Isn’t very strange news to know? Has she left showbiz or involved showbiz in the religion?

The controversial queen who not only broke all records of vulgarity while performing nude photo shots for Indian magazine but declared herself as successful actress for her shameful perform in the past.

A height of stupidity planned by Hero TV Channel to hire Veena as host of religious program for achieving cheap popularity and masses towards watching the show however public anger is likely to create as the controversial queen is absolutely misfit for such religious program.

Later an online petition created to be submitted to Pemra for stopping the controversial actress hosting the religious show.

But its not confirmed, either petition or public outcry is the reason that has caused removal of Veena from the program.

Veena malik Astagfar show Online Issued to Pemra

Islamabad: As the news spread like a wildfire on social media about the Veena Malik’s program Astaghfaar, an online petition created to be submitted to Pemra for stopping the controversial actress hosting the religious show.Veena Malik

The petition said that “Veena Malik is a notorious porn star known for her semi nude pictures in magazines and Indian movies. Ramadhan is a serious religious matter. It is extremely pathetic that an FHM controversial model will preach religion in the holy month of Ramadhan on a Pakistani channel.

It will hurt the feelings of Muslims all over Pakistan and abroad, it said. Pemra must immediately stop Hero TV from airing such stuff in the holy month of Ramadhan.

So far merely more than 74,000 subscribers of the Facebook like this petition.
