Imran Khan promises rural empowerment at grassroots

PTI chief Imran Khan says his party would empower masses at grassroots.imran kahnAddressing a rally in Bhakkar, Imran said the people in the rural areas would be freed from the clutches of tyrant policemen. He said the day when the people living in villages would be freed from the clouts of bogus MNAs, the country would be free in the true sense.

He said funds would be transferred to the grassroots – the villagers would run locval schools and dispensaries.

Imran said that the chief minister of Punjab is unaware of the sufferings of the people of Bhakkar affected by floods.

He said the PTI is not a dynastic party. He said the party is open for all talented people to hold its helms of affairs through hard work.

Govt, N-League on same page on NATO supply reopening

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf leader Imran Khan accused Pakistan Muslim League-N of supporting the government on the issue of NATO supply.tahreek-insaf

Addressing a news conference here on Monday, Khan said N-League and the government had a similar stance on NATO supply reopening in Parliament’s Committee on National Security (PCNS). Ishaq Dar had agreed on resumption of NATO supply in the meeting of PCNS, he said.

PML-N, he said, was opposing the reopening of NATO supply routes to deceive the public.

Khan said nothing was ever heard from the JUI-F on NATO supply and now Maulana Fazlur Rehman was holding protests.

“I have an open challenge for those who accuse Imran Khan of receiving funds from ISI that I will quit politics if they prove their allegations.”
