Violence prevails in Karachi; Nine killed in 12 hours

Karachi: The violence seemed to be not halting in Karachi as at least nine people were gunned down in the city in separate incidents, sources said on Monday.Target Killing karachi

The sources said that armed men riding on motorbikes opened fire on two people in Gulshan Iqbal area of Karachi, resulting in their injuries which later succumbed to death on their way to the hospital.

“The deceased were identified as the activists of banned outfit, Mufti Zeshan and Danish,” they said.

In other incident, an activist of a political party, identified as Adnan, was killed at Teen Talwaar area of Karachi.

A person named Imran was killed in Juria Bazar area of Karachi followed by a killing of a doctor named Tariq in Orangi town.

On the other hand, unknown assailants opened fire on a vehicle in Korangi area of Karachi, killing a senior police and his friend.

At least four people, among them a women, were injured when unknown assailants opened fire on Bus in Sharafi Goath area of Landhi town.

The above mentioned killings have raised the death toll in Karachi to five people during 12 hours.
